About

My name is Natalia Bondar, and I am a Counseling Psychologist (MSc), Certified Coach (ICI), and Gestalt Psychotherapist in training.

I use evidence-based approaches that include a variety of methods such as gestalt therapy, solution-oriented brief therapy, coaching, mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and existential and client-centered counseling. I also apply elements of other types of therapy that blend mindfulness and body awareness.

I have been practicing as a counseling psychologist and coach since 2021, and as a group facilitator and mindfulness trainer since 2013.
I received master’s degree in applied psychology and coaching at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis and I am a member of the European Coaching Association, which granted me a professional certificate “Master Coach ICI”.

Additionally, I received a post-graduate diploma in family psychology and have 10 years of practice in mindfulness-based approaches. Currently, I continue professional training in gestalt psychotherapy at Kyiv Gestalt University.

I am dedicated to staying up to date with the latest research in the field and regularly attend professional development courses, and conferences as well as supervision and personal therapy.
Beyond formal training, my personal path has had a significant impact on my professional perspective, shaping me into a reliable counsel for my clients. And here are some lessons I learned on this way.
Body Awareness
Since my early years, I encountered persistent health issues. Then, at the age of 23, I received a sudden cancer diagnosis that forever changed my path. This deeply personal experience led me to the field of psychology and a consistent mindfulness practice. It taught me the priceless lessons of appreciating and respecting my body, as well as the limitless capacity to access my inner authority and creative potential.

Living Abroad
I was forced to leave my hometown of Donetsk, Ukraine, in 2014 as war broke out there. Changing countries in forced emigration I gained experience of starting over in another country and navigating through shifting circumstances. With such personal familiarity with the challenges of relocation, I offer support to individuals facing the stress and uncertainty that accompanies this process.
Relationships
Through the course of my own personal therapy, I overcame co-dependency and toxic relationship patterns that were rooted in my parents' role models. Having experienced the transformative power of breaking free from these patterns I am well equipped to assist clients who are facing similar struggles in creating healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Professional Development
I faced numerous obstacles throughout my journey, including fleeing war, health issues, and financial limitations. But I kept going because of commitment to my life's calling and persistent action. I managed to build a business and private practice in several countries, adapting to remote work as well. Now I am truly passionate about helping others navigate professional development, especially during challenging times, and follow their own passions.
Witnessing the immense strength that my clients have and come to embrace through our work serves as a great source of inspiration and motivation for me in my profession.
