COUNSELING
SESSIONS

I offer a safe and supportive environment where clients can feel comfortable sharing their concerns and experiences.

Whether you are dealing with personal struggles, relationship issues, or professional challenges, I am here to help you navigate these difficult times.

How can I support you?
I specialize in helping clients navigate four key areas:

Welcome to my practice.

I provide support and guidance to individuals and couples who find themselves in difficult circumstances.
Many people seek my services during times of crisis, whether they are struggling with personal or professional changes, conflicts in relationships, burnout, feelings of stagnation, loss of significant work, people, or property, or the impact of current political and economic changes.

I believe that crisis times can challenge us to make internal changes and grow personally, which allows us to take control of our lives. As a psychologist, I strongly believe in the power of connection, empathy, and collaboration in the therapeutic process. My approach is client-centered, meaning that I work closely with each individual to develop a tailored plan that suits their unique needs and goals.

I know that reaching out for help can be challenging, and I'm honored that you're considering me as a resource. I'm here to help you take the first step toward a more fulfilling life.

Q&A

What happens during a counselling session?

During our sessions, we will establish a direct relationship where we discuss your psychological state, difficulties, and life tasks.

Together, we will find solutions that are right for you and help you cope with difficult experiences, make important decisions, and develop new behaviors to enhance your life satisfaction. You will also learn to manage your internal state and relationships.

Our discussions may involve specialised questioning and suggestions, as well as psychological techniques and practices that you can do during the session or as homework.

Do not worry if before the session it seems that you do not know what to talk about, if you feel overwhelmed and worried, and if the problem drives you into shame, guilt or other strong emotions. My goal is to create a safe space where you can feel comfortable and be able to express yourself.

If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the counselling process or discussing a particular topic, you can stop me, and we will openly discuss alternatives.

What are the time and place for sessions?

Each consultation lasts one hour and is conducted online via a video call on Google Meet, WhatsApp, or whichever is more convenient for you.

To ensure an effective process, I ask you to find a calm and quiet space for our call where nothing will distract you. Please check your internet connection beforehand, pour yourself some water or tea, and make yourself as comfortable as possible.

What are the payment options?

Payment can be made via bank transfer (e.g. Wise or Swift) or PayPal. It is important to arrange payment before your counselling session. If you choose a monthly plan, please note that the full payment for four sessions must be made in advance as a single transaction. Bank fees may apply for international transactions, and any additional charges will be the responsibility of the client. If you have any questions or concerns about payment options, please feel free to contact me.

Can I cancel or reschedule my session?

Counselling sessions can be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before the session. Exceptions apply to emergencies that you could not have known about in advance.

What’s the difference between counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching, and how do they help solve problems?

Counselling typically involves short-term work (up to 20 sessions) and focuses on specific issues, such as managing stress, grief, or relationship problems, when the person feels stuck. Counsellors work with clients to identify their emotions, patterns of behavior and thinking, and develop strategies to cope with difficult life experiences and improve their mental wellbeing.

Psychotherapy, on the other hand, is a longer-term treatment that aims to explore deeper psychological issues, such as past traumas or personality disorders. Psychotherapists help clients understand and manage their emotions and behavior, and achieve personal growth.

Coaching, unlike counselling and psychotherapy, is future-oriented and focused on specific goals, such as career advancement or personal development. Coaches help clients identify their strengths and weaknesses, set achievable goals, and develop action plans to achieve them.

All three approaches can be helpful in addressing personal or psychological difficulties, but the choice of which to use depends on the specific needs and goals of the individual. As a counsellor, I use techniques from all three modalities to provide clients with a range of tools to help them overcome their challenges.

How confidential are the sessions?

Everything that happens during sessions is fully confidential, and I do not discuss clients' problems with third parties. Exceptions include cases where the client may harm themselves or others, or when I seek a professional supervision regarding the client's case to be more helpful to them. In such case no personal data is shared, and only the case itself is described without names, as the supervision process is fully confidential.

What are the limits of counselling?

As a counsellor, I have a psychological education, not a medical one, and provide support through talk therapy. Therefore, I do not diagnose or prescribe medication. If necessary, I may recommend that clients consult with a doctor for further treatment or medical advice. It is important to note that my services are not intended to replace medical or psychiatric treatment, but rather to complement them. I do not work with severe psychopathology, such as schizophrenia or bipolar disorder, and I do not specialise in treating addiction-related issues.

How can I form a specific request for counselling sessions?

You can form your counselling request by discussing and establishing your goals together with me during our first session. These goals can be refined and elaborated upon throughout the counselling process.

It’s also possible to come to the session without a specific request. My goal is to helps you to sort out chaotic feelings, identify their causes, and find solutions. I have tools and methods that help highlight the key points of clients' difficulties, make a client aware of them, and make these difficulties visible. In this way through the counselling process, you learn to gain greater control over your emotions.
